change the exif in command line

in command line:
convert t_img11.jpg -set "EXIF:WinXP-Author" TEST t_img11.jpg
identify -format "%[EXIF:WinXP-Author]" t_img11.jpg

why this command don't change this exif?
May i write wrong?
