"No Decode Delegate" Following Host Software Upgrade

I use Image::Magick in a Perl script. Worked fine. My host upgraded software. Now I get an error:
"no decode delegate for this image format `header.jpg'"
Host uses Linux and Apache. What should I ask him to do? Or, what tests can I run to figure out how to fix the problem?
