ImageMagick(info?) for phpBB 3.2.1 how to install it?

ImageMagick path: Full path to the imagemagick convert application, e.g. /usr/bin/.
Can I get some more info on what it is & how it works and how to install it on 3.2.1.
I'm using a free host for my forum. Can you give me some examples/links/demos to what's the purpose of ImageMagick & how it works on phpBB?
