need to develop a program for image processing. For example there is this: http://editor.pixastic.com/ but it is not open source.

Only this way: php css javascript and imagemagick.

NOT Air, not Flash.
any suggestions?.

Without knowing more it is imposible to comment.

What type of processing? What Type of files?


At least you have one advantage of IM, it is open source and can batch process images.
