progressive jpeg to progressive jpeg

I am curious if source file were a progressive jpeg and I resized it, would the converted jpeg retain progressiveness?

Why don't you try a test and just see.

   convert progressive.jpg -taint  test.jpg

I tested and it turned out conversion wipes out progressiveness.

Interlace: JPEG

This is from converted file:

Interlace: None
