Incompatible with libtiff.so.4.2.1?

Post by Spud »

I am installing under debian GNU/Linux v.4.0, and I have the problem with a missing libtiff.so.3

I have tried creating a symbolic link, a hard link, and an actual copy of libtiff.so.4.2.1, but these all just cause a floating point exception upon running convert. Any ideas?

Of course, with a little sleep, I now realize that libtiff is probably just fine. I have plugged the hole with the updated library, and so now it gets past that point. The floating point error is probably unrelated.
