You can rotate with annotate :
http://www.imagemagick.org/script/comma ... p#annotate you can also use -gravity with annotate.
I would guess you want something like:

Just a point of convention. The convert syntax usually has the input image right after "convert" and not at the end of the command line.
convert input ...options... output
