Grayscale to RGB again

IMagick is a native PHP extension to create and modify images using the ImageMagick API. ImageMagick Studio LLC did not write nor does it maintain the IMagick extension, however, IMagick users are welcome to discuss the extension here.

Hi, did someone figure out convert color image to black-and-white with conserve RGB colorspace (or type) and origin icc profile?
Something like that -type Grayscale -type TrueColor -colorspace RGB or -modulate 100,0 -type TrueColor -colorspace RGB doesn't work.

Version: ImageMagick 6.3.7
