density being ignored converting form a pdf to jpg

I am not a Windows expert, but try

convert file.pdf -density 300x300 -units PixelsPerInch -resize 2400x3000! file.jpg

Is it possible your IM convert is being confused with Windows convert? If so, try renaming your IM convert
