MagickWand + Ghostscript

I am planning to install MagickWand and then Ghostscript on my 1&1 server over SSH.

I have found instructions for installing ImageMagick, but how do I add pdf conversion capabilities? I think I have to install Ghostscript, but I haven't found a guide on how to install it over SSH as a shared library. Any help for installing Ghostscript would be welcome.
