Problem with pdf2jpg with files above 6MB

Hello,
today we started php page, that is converting pdf to jpg.
Everything works fine for files above 6MB. Conversion is starting, I see number of converted pages (1-2 per second).
When I'm trying to do that with bigger files, php is almost not even starting...
Where can I look for problem?
