I try to convert a pdf to a thumbnail, but I can't manage it.

I did this:

convert ak.pdf -trim -resize 250x250^ ak.png


and got this:

http://sb.brod-is.de/test/ak.png

That's fine, but now I would like to crop it to a thumbnail 250px300px like this:
