I tried installing ImageMagick-x86_64-apple-darwin12.0.0.tar.gz on Mac OS X 10.7.4
so that I can use it with MAMP (I was following the instructions at http://www.maratz.com/blog/archives/2010/05/11/imagemagick-with-mamp/)
I updated my .bash_profile with
export MAGICK_HOME="/Applications/MAMP/bin ...
