Below error occurs when tried to convert txt file to PDF file.

I have installed Imagemagick-6.6.7-6 on unix based solaris machine.

when we issued convert command at path /home/ImageMagick-6.6.7-6 as below

> usr/local/bin/convert /home/dev/greater/1234567.tif /home/dev/greater/1234567.gif

i get the following warning:

convert: /home/dev/greater/1234567 ...

Cant we install Tiff with IM binary.

But the same issue is occuring if we try to convert jpg,gif or tif.

We get the issue if we try to access images present in different locations.

If we try built in images then convert is working fine.

we have installed Imagemagick-6.3.5 on solaris sparc.

when we issued below command at /imagemagick/bin
convert logo: /tmp/logo.gif works fine for us.

But when we issued below command at /imagemagick/bin
convert /tmp/logo.tif /tmp/logo.gif

it gives the following error
convert: no decode ...
